KRAFTEN Dals Rostock is an economic association that was founded in the autumn of 2022. The association is a continuation of a sustainable place development process that was carried out in the area with support from the municipality and the Västra Götaland Region.

The purpose of the association is to work together to achieve our shared vision for Dals Rostock. This is done through various working groups that focus on different projects for the development of Dals Rostock: Communication, Business, Safety, Outdoor Activities, and Events.

Our Shared Vision

An accessible place with a train stop and good public transport connections. The village is well maintained, and the area has been developed by building on its existing resources. The picturesque character remains and has been further enhanced. It is a place that continuously works with future development.

It is a vibrant place with a rich community life, a local shop, a good school, several stores, multiple businesses, and growing small enterprises. We have an increased range of restaurants, cafés, more events, courses, fairs, and live music.

All houses and apartments are occupied, with a large number of permanent residents and many families with children.

Everyone has someone to talk to, and no one needs to feel alone. There is a wide range of activities for both young and old. A place that is safe, lively, and offers a strong sense of community with a welcoming atmosphere.

There is a high flow of tourism focused on nature and culture. The natural areas are well maintained and accessible.

Dals Rostock is a natural destination for hiking and outdoor activities. We are at the forefront when it comes to locally produced goods. The area is well known across Sweden for sustainability, biodiversity, history, culture, and beautiful natural surroundings.
