The Museum In the old restaurant building there is now a well-stocked museum, run by Kroppefjäll village association, which is open in summer. Here you can feel the wings of time and get transported back in history by the old artefacts and displays.

Herb Garden There is an established history of medicinal plant cultivation in Dals Rostock. In the well-maintained herb garden, you can find out about the usage and cultural history of the plants.

Kerstin’s Ateljé and studio Kerstin Ljungqvist is a versatile artist with many strings to her bow. Here you will find humorous cabinets, ceiling paintings, gifts and an inexhaustible source of information. In the summertime she also sells flowers and plants.

Station building An exact copy of the original but half the size. Borrow the key for a small fee in the local shop, go in and stamp your ticket in the booth, and rummage amongst the cups in the kitchen. A great favourite with younger children.

Kroppefjällsparken (the old sanitorium) The area where formerly there was a sanatorium is now a park called Kroppefjällsparken and includes a Bed & Breakfast and private housing. There is also Kroppefjäll dog park. The park lies next to Mörttjärn, bordering the Möttjärn Nature Reserve.

Gunnarsnäs kyrka Close to Ekholmen Manor you will also find Gunnarsnäs church. It is a beautiful whitewashed church with slate roof from which the visitor has a lovely view of Dals Rostock.

Kroppefjällsleden Kroppefjälls Trail goes over high plateaus and wooded rift valleys, by mighty lakes and mystical ponds. The first stage goes between Källan and Dals Rostock and is marked with purple bands.
